In Summer 2022, Nursery read 

 Oliver's Vegetables

by Vivian French and Allison Bartlett

Oliver loves chips, so much so that he won't eat anything else.  Until, one day, he plays a game with his Grandad.  Whatever vegetable Oliver finds in the garden, he must eat.  On Monday, he pulls up carrots... 

A lovely book for children who are not quite sure about vegetables, that also teaches the days of the week.

This book tells the traditional tale of the Little Red Hen, who does all the work around the farm.

 In the Spring Term, Reception, Year One and Year Two have been enjoying 

Immi by Karin Littlewood

 

The magical tale of Immi, a lonely Inuit girl who finds a coloured wooden bird on the end of her fishing line one day.  Each day she fishes more bright and beautiful knick-knacks, until her igloo is so cheery it attracts visitors from far and wide who enliven her world.
