Moving on to the Junior School

Ready for the next stage in their Parkhill journey

At Parkhill Infants' School we help every child build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to enjoy learning at junior school. We are proud of our children's achievements at the end of Key stage 1, and equally proud of the kindness, independence and resilience they develop along the way.

We work closely with our colleagues at Parkhill Junior School to make sure that learning progresses naturally from Reception through Years 1 and 2 and into Year 3. Our children are already part of the wider Parkhill community with friends and siblings across both schools.

During the summer term of Year 2, our transition programme helps children become familiar with their new school and feel confident about starting Year 3.
